We were in the process of selling our home & needed to make a few electrical upgrades to meet the electrical inspection requirements. The business owner made a special trip to our home shortly after our initial call. He was very knowledgable, completing the upgrades that afternoon. He was also very outgoing – providing additional recommendations to make our home’s electrical services suitable for the new owner. Our experience with JM Electric was great.
Electrical Upgrades
We first used JM electric as part of a remodeling project where the construction business sub contracted with JM. JM stood alone as the one positive aspect of that contracting experience! Jim comes on time, when he says he will, he is courteous, helpful, he cleans up when he is finished and offers sound advice when needed. JM is extremely service oriented and maintains memorable professionalism. Since our first experience we have asked JM back into our home for additional electric upgrades and we have passed his name on to others, knowing that JM will be a great referral for anyone needing a top notch electrician.
Remodeling Project
I gave JM Electric a call in regard to some questionable DIY wiring I inherited in my home. Wires that seemed to go nowhere; wiring that just didn’t seem right. James was able to survey the situation and get me fixed up. He did a great job with the services that were required at my home. The worked was professional, timely, and at a very fair price. I’ve used JM twice now and I nothing but great things to say! Very trustworthy, I’ve found my new Electrician!

The owner of the company performed quality work in a prompt fashion. He installed canned lighted on a dimmer switch in our kitchen for additional lighting. He also installed motion lights on our garage and home that work well for us. His pricing was fair and reasonable. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Home Lighting Addition
I needed some wiring completed for a new sump pump and some other minor work. JM Electric came recommended by a friend and I am glad I called! He was prompt, friendly and efficient. He even quickly came back when I needed some additional wiring repaired. Thanks again! Would highly recommend!

We needed our old fuse box switched put for breakers and they were in perfect communication with us. They knew what they were doing and got everything done that we needed in the estimated time. They were amazing! I would definitely recommend.
Fuse Box Upgrade
We hired Jim through Home Advisor and we couldn’t be more pleased. He and his team were fantastic each time they entered our home. We had an old fuse box upgraded to breakers on the first visit. He came out to inspect the work before fully agreeing and was able to give us a solid written estimate. When the time came closer to do the work, he called the inspector FIRST to make sure what he planned was going to be ok, rather than waiting until later. I found this extremely comforting. He is a guy that wants to do things right the first time! It is hard to find those anymore. We had several other “professionals” in our home doing various other upgrades and they had to come back multiple times because their work wasn’t done right originally. This is not the case with Jim. He does his job very well! I just had him out again this morning to add in a dedicated outlet for my dishwasher, as it was previously plugged into a light socket, and he was again super friendly and thorough in his duties. He gets work done around your schedule and if he has a problem with timing or anything else, he will call. Great electrician! Great Service! Would definitely recommend!
